After we create the PowerPoint file or presentation, we apply the theme and color to the slides to make it beautiful.
We use the Design tab option to apply the theme and color to the slides. The Design tab has a variety of built-in themes that we can click on any theme and apply it to our slides and if we want to do custom formatting / designing we will use the Format background option.

How to place a theme on slides?
Method
To place a theme on the slides in your presentation, first go to the menu bar. and then,
➤ Click the Design tab option.
➤ Different themes will appear here.
➤ Right-click on any theme and it will be applied.

➤ This theme will be applied to all slides.
Note
The theme that you put in this way will be applied to all the slides.
How to apply different themes?
➤ Select the slides on which different themes will apply. (Select with the Ctrl key).
➤ Right-click on the theme that will be applied to the custom slides.
➤ Right-click will display some options, of which the "Apply to selected slides" option will be clicked.
➤ Now this particular theme will only apply to the selected slides.
This way you can put your own custom theme on your slides.
